Hi, I’m amy.

I am a marketing consultant, gregarious extrovert, wine and food lover based in Sonoma County. After 12 years in marketing roles in the California wine industry, I am recognizing a long-held dream of owning my own business and sharing my skills and expertise with wine industry clients.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have worked at some of California’s well-loved wineries including Justin Vineyards, Ponte Family Estate, Benziger Family Winery, Mumm Napa and Kenwood Vineyards. In my most recent role as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Sonoma County Winegrowers, I told the stories of Sonoma County’s many multi-generational farming families, 18 AVAs and vast portfolio of incredible wines.

I have deep story-telling experience about sustainability, viticulture, winemaking and brand histories. Working with wineries and associations with small marketing teams has given me the opportunity to plan and execute a wide variety of marketing and public relations projects. I have a large breadth of experience in wine and am a skilled writer, content creator, public relations professional and project manager.

I hold a BA in communications from San Diego State University and an MBA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I look forward to teaching my first class in DTC sales at Santa Rosa Jr College this spring.

In my free time, you can find me swimming laps, cheering for the Giants, sipping wine with my husband, Sam, or playing with my daughter, Adelaide, who aims to teach me the meaning of “gregarious extrovert.”

your team is taxed…I can help

As a former wine marketing director, I know how complex the business can be. From POS materials to DTC collateral, digital messaging and hospitality, there are a thousand marketing priorities and only so many hours in the day. Winery marketing departments are stretched thin and don’t have the significant resources necessary to add another team member.

Let me help. With a large breadth of experience in winery and trade marketing, I understand your business challenges and can take on projects with minimal onboarding. Let’s talk through your goals and decide whether I can cut your marketing “to do” list down.
